Applying for the ESSQ (MSc in Surgical Sciences)

There are five stages to the application process:

  1. Applicants should complete the online application form (through the University of Edinburgh's EUCLID system).

  2. Before being considered for selection, applicants must upload scans of the requested relevant documentation (see below for details).

  3. Once all the scanned documents have been received and verified the completed application goes forward for selection.

  4. Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of a place. The minimal condition is: receipt of the first instalment of the programme fee (£690 in 2010/11). Details of how to pay will be sent with the offer.

  5. Once proof of payment has been received you will be sent your eeSURG password and welcome pack in advance of the 2010 start date of Monday, 6 September 2010.

Uploading Documents

When making your application you will be required to upload your documentation electronically. Following the submission of your application, you still have the opportunity to upload more documents. If you experience problems uploading your document(s) please try to keep documents small to improve processing time and close all other internet programmes.  It would be helpful if you would name all documentation appropriately e.g. CV, Reference 1. If documents fail to upload (e.g. page not found message returned) it is likely to be the result of your local internet connect capabilities.

You will receive regular e-mails from the online system to update you with your application's progress and you may also contact the CMVM Postgraduate Office at the University of Edinburgh to check details.
